This seems to happen a lot these days.i first experienced this p, i also cried a lot. I am glad i stopped the crying as well. I need to start to live again. Gid help Me help my self I believe it’s that part In scripture that says children will turn against their parents.Sad. I had to feel such rejection. I quit trying to figure out why. It helps with the healing.
Hi Rita,
I’m sorry too that this is happening. How very difficult. Sending prayers for her is a
very loving thing to do despite this situation. It seems like a good way to take care of
yourself and offer compassion. I wish you peace and comfort as well. Sage,
I’m doing better with my rejection. My daughter was raped at age twelve but didn’t tell me about until she turned 50!
She blames me for that and anything else that hurt her. I pray for her and put her into the Hands of God. That is the only way I can live without my beautiful, smart and sensitive adult child. I am 86 years old and it’s sad to think she might not even attend my funeral.
Hi Rita,
I’m sorry this happened to your daughter … and also that she blames you. This (past abuse or s**ual trauma) is very frequently hidden. I hear stories like yours sometimes, which is one reason I covered this subject to Beyond Done With The Crying (2021). Even when mothers had no clue what happened, they are often blamed.
HUGS hugs to you.
